THE POWER OF YOUTH
What are we doing?Where are we headed?What are we running after? These are the questions that arise in the minds of every young Indian.In today’s India of pub culture and new age yogis every young mind yearns for satisfaction and fulfillment. We try to fill ourselves with outwardly things.A jive in a disco or a fine dinning evening may give us a high but only a temporary one.After some time we get bored and search for someplace new to go.Parties and disco nights and pubs can give us only show off happiness.But what of true happiness,true fulfillment,the one that stays with us forever. Today’s youth has a lot of energy,it has many ideas,it just doesn’t know where to go with them.There are hundreds of thousands of young people who want to do something,who want to make a difference.But they don’t know where to start.Gone are the days when students used to just think about scoring the highest in their class or do a vishard in kathak. Nows the time when they want to be a part of everything from rock bands to pottery,from Gothic hairstyles to attending the church,from dancing in the pubs to swaying their way to devotion at isckon,from coming out on the streets when India won the world cup to again coming out on the streets to support anna hazare’s anti corruption campaign. Wooff…a confused lot aren’t we?But the hope lies in us because we may not be all that good but we aren’t bad either.We haven’t gone waste just that we are not utilized properly.One young leader,revolutionary leader i cannot name not because they are rare but because the youth is the leader.They together can make a difference..They in a group have the capacity of forming a rock band and also of changing an entire nation.We need to understand that we can get that fulfilling and lasting happiness only by helping the less privileged rise up.By helping this 60 year old developing nation finally become a developed one.
LIFE’S GOOD
Life’s good. In fact its great.It has so much to offer every moment.So many experiences through smiles and tears.Many different people,many different feelings and amazingly no two are same.Life’s just a series of experiences :true,neutral experiences.
But then life’s bad:so many people,so many loveless relations, so much tension,so many failures.
What we forget is to look around,to see things for what they are.We are so much into intricacies of things that we forget to see the beauty of simplicity.All things are simple,beautiful and waiting to give us love only if we wait and notice.
A beautiful flower can give us energy that can keep us happy for a day.
But we make things very complicated.It is not our job to judge people,make or break relations or to punish people
for what wrong they do,nor is it our job to judge ourselves,to curse ourselves,to blame ourselves.Gods there to take care of all that.
Our only job is to live,live freely,without any bondage’s,to run behind butterflies,to enjoy the rain,to fall in love,to spread smiles,to be happy. That is what we were designed for.Lets not malfunction..
SILVER LININGS
The best part about the worst part of life is that it takes all the fear you have had out of you.
It shows you the worst of things.It makes you live through nightmarish incidents without them actually happening.It punches you in the gut.It takes the spark out of you.It makes you miserable.But at the end of this all, what do you find?
You find a void. You find darkness all around and you standing at its center. And in the chaos of all such negative thoughts you suddenly find peace.No you dont get the answers to all the questions.Not all injustices are righted.No compensation is given for all the times that you were hurt.Unrequitted feelings still lay without a hand.But what you learn in the clarity of such darkness is to make peace, is to accept everything. Because evrything that had to happen has happened, all the decisions made, all the hurt fired.What remains is the knowledge that it no longer matters. Like a dried wound that hurt alot sometime ago, but now has no existence you rip these things away from you in a blow.You look around there is no one.You pick urself up one more time and enter life.You know you will enter this dungeon once again someday, but now you know that there is a way out of it. So with a smile of a injured and hurt warrior you move on to find your true legend, once again.

“What are we doing? Where are we headed? What are we running after?” if these are the question every young mind is asking then this world would have been a much better place by now. I doubt how many of young minds ask questions (let us exclude ourselves 😀 ) Their actions are driven by peer pressure. What others are doing is what I will do especially in this age of pace and chaos.
We do need good leaders because most of us don’t know what we want. That is why leaders exist, they hold the beacon. They stand tall like lighthouse to show us the directions. Actions speak more than words, whole country thought Anna Hazare’s campaign would work but there was never solid plan in his words that is why he failed. When Kejariwal decided to talk via actions by forming a political party even he couldn’t live up to the expectations. (That is why I am optimistic about Narendra Modi, because his actions speak).
Hence those who asks question should seriously consider becoming leaders because then only this world can be a better place to live.
